Welcome to KaniPOS. These Terms of Service govern your creation and management of merchant store tenant accounts on KaniPOS (gsmart-services.com) and associated subdomains. By registering a tenant shop, you agree to these terms.
1. Account Registration & Subdomains
To activate KaniPOS, you must register a unique subdomain (e.g. yourshop.gsmart-services.com) representing your retail store. You are solely responsible for maintaining password security and verifying that employee/cashier logins are configured with safe permission controls.
2. Software-as-a-Service Subscriptions
KaniPOS operates as a subscription-based platform. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as detailed in your selected plan tier. Active plan quotas (limiting total active cashier shifts, monthly invoice volume, or unique product counts) are strictly enforced.
Failed subscription renewals will transition the store tenant to a 7-day grace period, after which public access to storefronts and cash registers is suspended until invoice settlement.
3. Database Backups & Data Ownership
You maintain absolute ownership of all product lists, transaction records, and inventory data uploaded to your KaniPOS store. KaniPOS runs automated incremental database backups to protect operational records; however, we encourage merchants to run local data exports (CSV downloads) routinely before executing heavy catalog imports.
4. SMS Notifications & Third-Party Services
Cashier triggers that dispatch automated WhatsApp alerts or customer billing SMS notifications rely on local telecom relays. KaniPOS does not accept liability for delayed delivery caused by carrier maintenance or invalid customer mobile prefixes.
5. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the usage of KaniPOS Cloud POS are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tamil Nadu.
